Title: Bush Fairy
Statement: My contemporary costume designed for dance was inspired by the children's TV show 'The Fairies', the colour and shapes from the flora of Australian culture, and historical depictions of fairies. I have hand-dyed cotton fabric using avocados seeds to create a soft pink colour, as well as laser cut small flowers to add dimension and texture. The wings are created using free-motion embroidery and add a bright contrasting colour to the soft muted pink.

Title: Luxury Redefined - Handbag Collection
Statement: This collection of handbags concentrates on using 100% natural and sustainable textile items. They were constructed from linen, cotton and silk. The big bag features a rectangular face with reused zip ties giving internal structure and silk feature points of a delicate bow and lining with a patch pocket. The hexagonal bag features bound lining and vintage techniques of weaving. The leather bag has a professional metal clasp with a laser-etched floral design featuring a chain handle with recycled ribbon woven through.

Title: Transcendence
Statement: "This elegant ensemble consists of a form fitting corset bodice, complimented by a free flowing delicate reversible skirt. The corset is constructed with a square neckline, contoured waist drawn in and held in place by delicate silk rouleau loops and buttons at the back. The loops and buttons are intricately placed. The full reversible skirt depicts elegant, simplistic tones of cream and white on the exterior while the reverse reveals layers upon layers of written pages, rustically constructed to depict the illusion of a novel. The detailed embellishment on the interior of the skirt creates an authentic aesthetic appeal. Their is intricate construction of the hand and machine embroidery. The garment can be both casual or formal, with the right accessories this outfit can be worn to all functions suiting every aspect of your life. This design is functionally and aesthetically breathtaking, breaking the boundaries of time itself. "
